The green Butjadingen Peninsula between the Jade Bay and the mouth of the Weser River is right next to the Wattenmeer National Park. You can do more than just collect sea shells and count sand worms, you can also take extensive bicycle tours and enjoy the fresh, salty air.

Area

Oldenburg: a town in the open countryside of North-West Germany. This old town is situated around the old town Hall, the St. Lamberti church and the castle.
Tilt-cart ride: a horse-and-wagon trip in nature. This is a lovely trip for the whole family.
Jaderpark: a theme park for the whole family with an adventure park, amusement park with many attractions, zoo and an indoor playing park for small children.
Cruise to Helgoland: a deep-see island with magnificent nature.
Mud-flat walking: mud-flat walking is fun for the whole family and takes place in the Niedersachsischen Wattenmeer national park.
Museum Moorseer mill: the last remaining working mill in Butjadinger which also functions as a museum with a rich history.

From Hoek van Holland
� Take the A4 in the direction of Den Haag and follow the signs for Amsterdam.
� Follow the A4 to the Nieuwe Meer interchange and then turn onto the A10 towards Ringweg Zuid.
� On the interchange Amstel turn onto the A10 towards Amersfoort.
� On the interchange Watergraafsmeer follow the A1 in the direction of Amersfoort/ Almere.
� On the interchange Muiderberg follow the A6 in the direction of Lelystad/Almere.
� After approximately 100 km take the first exit on the roundabout towards Heereveen/Leeuwarden.
� On the interchange Heereveen turn onto the A7 in the direction of Groningen.
� Via Groningen (A7 - E22 in the direction of Winschoten) and the border-crossing you are on the A31 - E22 towards Oldenburg.
� Then take the A29 in the direction of Wilhelmshaven.
� Exit the highway at interchange number 8 Varel - Obenstrohe en follow the signs Nordenham.
� After entering Tossens follow the signs Center Parcs
