Michael has over 15 years experience in sales and marketing within international banking and insurance houses, and joins Forces Financial from Cerberus Special Risks - an Australian insurance broker specialising in unusual and hard to place risks - where he was the product and business development consultant. He is also a senior serving officer in the Parachute Regiment TA and is currently attached to 16 Air Assault Brigade. In 2008 he mobilised with the Brigade to Afghanistan .
Michael will use his combination of military and insurance experience to fine tune existing propositions, and develop the business' understanding of the specific financial requirements of serving personnel and their families based overseas. Initially his focus will also be on the Forces Financial branches in Germany where he plans to enhance the quality of service, which will include extending opening hours, and to develop a team of people who, on return to the UK, possess a range of skills that make them highly attractive to other employers in the financial sector, as well as to Forces Financial. |
